Threat-> Allowing Drone delivery for Pizza in India

After news from Amazon on Drone's delivering goods at door step, I see some Mumbai guy did experiment on delivering pizza !!!!

At present India is not equipped enough to handle the drone for security reasons.  What happens if miscreants use this with lethal weapons for mass destruction.

Government should discourage this for public use for time being until we have the infrastructure in place.  There is no denial of advantage it could offer in the area of medical help, disaster management, surveillance etc. but there could be negative usages as well !!

This technology is more or less in public domain and very easily payload capacity can be increased using more rotors.  This could go in wrong hand and can create havoc.

I strongly feel that government should get into action and stop this development as soon as possible.

Giving Back to Society to Build Bharat

In last 8 years we slowed down on our growth trajectory.  One way Congress led COALITION Government was responsible up to certain extent (mainly corruption and pleasing the partners) but same time we were not ready to grow at faster pace.
It wasn’t a rocket science to see that what is to be done to sustain the growth? Wasn’t that obvious that FDI will not continue forever?  Low end jobs can be shifted to other cheaper place.  All so called Economist knows the cyclical nature of economy and eternal dependency on foreign investment.

Then what were the steps available to the government and industries?   A lot is written on this topic and I am not here to repeat them.  Still I cannot believe that if economy downfall in US, Europe, Japan & China should impact our growth by 50% (may agree to 20-25%).
We need a radical change in policy, targets we aspire to achieve, proper planning, and efficient execution along with proper monitoring and controlling.
Now planning should not be limited to planning commission and Prime Minister Office hands.  We would need independent body to drive this and representation from industries, institution and Government will be needed.  It should not be at central government level.  It has to be at state government level but with common drive from central.
Some shortcuts mean which FM P Chidambaram launched India's first 'skilling
card' under the STAR Scheme will not be sufficient and these schemes will be good for patting of ruling government (currently Congress Oops!! It is UPA2).  It is a daunting task to make 500 Million people as skilled by 2022.  It is to be started with database analysis and need to target first semi-skilled people to be trained to skilled level, under-skilled to be trained for semi-skilled etc. In parallel there has to be targeted change in unorganized sector labours life.  The absorption of these graded skilled people should start in parallel and we will need huge amount of industries to absorb them.  We will need incentives for people who are going to start industries.  We will also need transfer of technologies mainly from highly dense industrialized country (start with Japan) and give them the ROI in some form or others.
PPP model with tax incentives have worked in past and it is proven formula.  Investors can start in Infrastructure, Pharma, food-processing, aviation, automotive, cultivation tools etc. But need courage from Government to support.
Now enough Gyan---What I want to do in coming years…
I will start with sensing the skill needs for industries and plan to contact NSDC.  Then need to find out how to start an NGO.  With the help of some like-minded people I would like to start/facilitate the training programs.  I will also build the network with start up and mid-scale industry to see the absorptions after training.
Culturally Indians are good in flexibility so there will be people to learn even after office hours only thing is that they cannot afford the cost of training for many semi-skilled people.

Pahale AAP!

Dear Friends,
Happy new year to all!!! I am sure at least Delhite might have felt this by end of Dec'13 that this year is going to be a good year for them ---Aam Adami governence.

I hear a positive vibes across the country that some changes are coming for good!!  One of the politician said that Ram Manohar Mohia movement was of similar engagement from public and you see the end result.

But har badalab ke liye kranti jaroori hoti hai.  Kranti has started, eduction level is good unlike during Ram Manohar Lohiya movementPeople will have tools like citizen charter, RTI and Lokpal, Anti-corruption help line etc. etc.  This movement seems to be totally different from previous one.  This movement is on fast track like Nirbhaya's case!!!  Good part is that Kejariwal knows he and his team may have to create momentum to gain confidence in aam adami and much needed changes are of immediate requirements...

This movement has to be sustained until at grass root level corruption is reduced and swtantrata or swaraj is completely visible.  I liked the anti corruption help line from Delhi CM-AK, but I am surprised to see that anti corruption helpline is there in every state but it is made so complicated that it is further harassment to aam adami.  Now people needs simple solution and visible action. People are frustrated because of complicated rules and misuse of powers of beurocrates !!!!!.

I hear that some of the existing politicians (like Kamal Farooqi from SP) who feels they would not be able to win this time, are trying to join AAP and feels that they can get the waive's-votes.... I am not sure if Aam adami can have enough filtering mechanism to stop it.  But this kind of horizontal change need to be banned or people who are coming from other party on the name of public service through AAP should not be given any post for 10 years and needed to be just party worker at entry level if they really want to serve the so called aam adami.

I remembered last year Kamal Farooqi wanted to do check-in at Bangalore airport- but out of turn where there was a queue of around 40 people before him.  When some of us obstructed him for doing so, he started arguing that there is no VIP window for MPs and MLAs so he has no other option.  When me and my wife along with many other passenger did not allow him to check in  Kamal Saheb started scolding local staff at airport for not having VIP window opened for him.  Finally the staff arranged some thing but do we need such politician in AAP?  A BIG NO.

An another incidence at RTO-KR Puram.  I had to collect life time tax paid receipt for my vehicle.  While filling the application form, clerk made my life miserable and asked me that they need self addressed envelope with postage stamp so that RTO department will send me the receipt via post.  I was forced to buy the envelop with postage stamp at double the cost from one of the dalal known to her.

When RTO department did not send me the receipt and they were not replying satisfactorily about the status over phone, I paid a visit to KR puram RTO after 45 days of submission and surprisingly my work was done but they were not ready to hand over the receipt.  I started arguing that if they are not sending the receipt via post then why did they take self addressed stamped envelop?  Obviously they were waiting for me to approach them and expecting some dakshina before they could hand over the receipt.  What a shame!!! they are paid government employees!!!

In most of the RTOs and sub-registrar office nothing moves without paying the bribes.  We aam adami should work to expose them asap and they should be removed from the system.

Ab Pahale aap nahi, kaho Pahale mai pahal karunga to weed out corruption.

Once again wish you a great year ahead !!!
